The list contains some interesting links to organisations, institutes and sources of information that deal (among other things) with the question of worker participation. The list cannot claim to be comprehensive and the inclusion or exclusion of any organisation is not to be taken as a sign of approval or disapproval.
European and international links
- The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions ("Dublin Foundation") is an EU body which was set up by the European Council in 1975. It shall provide information, advice and expertise – on living and working conditions, industrial relations and managing change in Europe – for key actors in the field of EU social policy.

- The European Trade Union Institute for Research, Education and Health and Safety (ETUI-REHS, Brussels) is the research centre of the ETUC. The ETUI-REHS has been set up to conduct research and provide scientific, educational and technical support to the ETUC and its affiliates and to contribute to the development of Social Europe and social dialogue.
- Labourline is the on-line catalogue of the ETUI-REHS Documentation Centre. Labourline contains bibliographical references to a broad range of subjects related to industrial relations and health and safety issues.
- The Social Development Agency (SDA asbl) is a non-profit organisation working under the umbrella of, and being supported by the ETUC. The EU-Commission funded project INFOPOINT is now managed by the SDA and will remain at the centre of its activaties. Besides offering information and assistance on EU budget lines, the SDA carries out specific projects relating to social issues and develops advisory services and assistance for European Works Councils and workforce representatives in SEs.
- Social-law net (droit social communautaire) is a portal to European social law. It is run by the Robert Schuman University of Strasbourg in collaboration with researchers from other universities. (language: French)

- The Trade Union Advisory Committee (TUAC) to the OECD is an interface for labour unions with the OECD. It is an international trade union organisation which has consultative status with the OECD and its various committees.

- Committee on Workers' Capital (www.workerscapital.org)
CWC brings together representatives of the international labour movement to share information and develop strategies for joint action in the field of workers' capital, including such areas as pension trustee education, corporate and financial market governance, shareholder activism and economically targeted investment.
National links - The Labour Research Department (LRD) is an independent, trade union based research organisation in the UK.
- The Involvement and Participation Association (IPA) is the main body in the UK promoting partnership in the workplace.
- The National Centre for Partnership and Performance (NCPP) has been established by the Irish Government to support and drive change in the Irish workplace.
- The Workers’ Participation Development Centre (WPDC) is the research institute of the University of Malta on workers’ participation.
- The Institute for Economic and Social Research (IRES) was jointly founded by the French trade unions with assistance from the government to meet the economic and social research needs of trade unions.
- The Swedish National Institute for Working Life carries out research and development covering the whole field of working life, on commission from the Swedish Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications.
- The Hans Böckler Foundation is the co-determination, research and scholarship mechanism of the German Federation of Trade Unions.

- Fafo is the Norwegian Institute for Applied Social Science. It conducts research and studies in the fields of labour relations, welfare policy and living conditions, both nationally and internationally.
- FNV Formaat is an independant Dutch foundation for education, documentation and consultation for works councils.
- Istituto per il lavore (IPL): The Labour institute is an Italian foundation conducting research and pursueing "the goal of developing technical and organisational expertise aimed at fostering the organisational evolution of enterprises and public bodies, as well as valorising work by encouraging different forms of participation".
- The Institute for co-determination in supervisory boards (IfAM) is an institute jointly run by the Austrian Federal Chamber of Labour (BAK) and the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB).
